Nothing phone 3a and 3a Pro are here
and let me tell you one thing, both the phones are very similar.
the major difference between them is the 3x periscope zoom lens.
which you get to see only in 3a Pro
and it has Sony’s LYT600 sensor which is usually found in flagship phones
and Nothing has kept both the phones very identical
6.7 inch FHD plus AMOLED screen.
here they are giving you Snapdragon 7s Gen 3
but the RAM type is LPDDR4X 8GB and 12GB and here you have a 128GB & 256GB storage version with UFS 2.2 storage here you get to see dual sim cards but they are bringing the eSIM option in foreign countries.
eSIM option is not available in India right now
and there is no charger in the box and yes here you get to see the IP64 rating overall they have made a decent phone and here you get to see 3 years of android updates and 6 years of security patch updates overall they have made the phone interesting if you see the price of phone 3a is around ₹25,000
and if you take a discount of ₹2,000 and if you get it for ₹22,000-₹23,000 then you can get a decent buy here.
however 3a Pro is a little expensive for me as per ₹30,000.
if they had not kept Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 in that phone for ₹30,000 and had kept 7 Gen 3 and UFS 3.1 storage then it could have been a better product and it could have been a Pro Version.
else you get to see a major difference in the design and camera but if you look at Nothing then they have created a very good hype and the biggest thing is that this phone was launched after a few years of iphone 16e that means you can understand that Apple is behind in marketing but Nothing always keeps the marketing top notch
and they hype their product more than Apple in today’s time which is a surprising thing.
although the hype marketing is fine to an extent but in the end it decides how the product is if I take an example of last year then Nothing’s Phone 2a was a very good phone
but if I talk about it there then Phone 2a plus was not that good and it was reflected in its sales, same story with .
Phone 1 was initially a little interesting product specifications were fine but there were a lot of bugs in the software things were slowly resolved then Phone 2 came, it was very refined but due to its expensive pricing it could not survive in the market along with this Nothing Phone 2a did well, CMF Phone 1 performed well and it looks like 3a Phone can perform very well here.
3a Pro will have to see how exactly it performs in the market and how many people like to go for its periscope camera.
